. We are asking all teams who are willing to vacuum their homeroom and one testing classroom, and empty the trash from the two rooms, to keep our custodial costs down.

Registration
Fill out the Registration form at the top of this page.
Fees need to be postmarked by December 1st. Please make the check out to Haslett High School. Mail to: Mary Meierfrankenfeld 968 Clifdale Dr. Haslett, MI 48840 Schools may bring as many teams as they would like, that may earn medals, but may only receive one trophy for their highest scoring team. This year we will place our cap at 45 teams. We will continue to have some homerooms in classrooms and some in the cafeteria, with priority given to those who register first. Last year we had teams sign up to run events that they knew nothing about, so this year we are waiting 2 weeks after the rules come out to open registration. Please only sign up to run events that you can run. Thank you. |
Event Preparation
Each team will prepare, proctor, and grade one event.
(Most schools will only have to run one event. Schools that bring a second team will be asked to help with timing, assist with grading, etc. ) Events are assigned to maximize strengths, not first-come, first served. Please submit tests four days prior to competition. |

It's the little things
We award medals to 4th place and ribbons to 8th.
All teams from the same school are in the same testing block.

Fine Print Ahead
All teams participating in an invitational tournament need to register with their state Science Olympiad. The membership fee must be paid prior to participating in any competition. If schools would like to bring more than one team, each team must be registered with their State office.
